Sariska Tiger Reserve is world's first tiger reserve to have auspiciously transposed various species of tigers which were on a verge of extinction. Located in Alwar Rajasthan this national park was started with a vision to preserve and provide shelter to tigers. The contouring of the land is such that it sets into a habitat for the wildlife conservation. Covering a land of around 800 km sq. this national park was founded in 1855 and later the government took it to execute it's project tiger and converted it into tiger reserve. The wilderness of the forest, rocky terrain , green grasses and the wild animals makes this place exciting and adventurous. Jungle safari gives you an instant adrenaline rush as excitement to watch the wild animals roaming around without any harnessing is unmatched.
Along with wild animals the birds are also preserved here like bush quail, crested serpent eagle , indian peafowl etc. Apart from preservation and tourist destination to watch animals and birds the place is also embellished with historical monuments, temples, palaces and forts which are also spots tourist interest. Sariska palace there is a grand palace of the rulers of Alwar after which the name of the reserve is kept. Now this palace has been converted into a high class hotel.

The timings for the Wildlife safari are from 06:00 AM to 04:00 PM in the months of January to June and 06:00 AM to 04:00 PM which is also the best time to visit Sariska Tiger Reserve Alwar.
